Has anyone else noticed that kits or models that you know you have, cannot be found when you need or want them?
Case in point. I have a Chivers Finelines kit of an Inisfail Tramway C class van. https://www.chiversfinelines.co.uk/shop/p/rc814-009-tramway-bogie-c-class-van-kit I know I have it, I found it a couple of weeks ago (while looking for something else), and it prompted me to order some spare parts from Dundas models with a view to converting it to a freelance brake van version.
The spare parts have arrived but can I find the Chivers kit? Can I heck as like. It seems to have vanished into an alternative dimension and frustratingly the kit is currently sold out, so I cannot simply order another.
Ah well, I shall have to put the Dundas spare parts in a safe place until the Chivers kit resurfaces. Except of course that once the Chivers kit reappears, the Dundas parts will probably have disappeared into an alternative dimension….
